These Pendleton blankets are robe size, which is the size preferred by Native Americans for ceremonial purposes and wrapping about oneself as a robe. These blankets fit perfectly over a double bed, and can be used for wall hangings or just for cuddling up on the sofa.

PILOT ROCK

In Oregon’s Western Cascades, Pilot Rock rises above the Rogue and Shasta Valleys. The area’s original inhabitants, the Takelma (“those along the river”), called it Tan-ts'at-seniphtha, or Stone Standing Up. Arrows represent salmon swimming into nets, and baskets overflowing with acorns and camas which allowed the Takelma to live harmoniously along the Rogue River
